SYSTEMS. Vertical panels for curved enclosures
Our cellular polycarbonate panel system makes it possible to use panels vertically to create curved vertical enclosures. Placement of the panels. For this type of curved placement, our panel system guarantees the stability and safety of the panel, allowing the possibility of curving it a few degrees thanks to its lateral attachment system between panels and the use of the preformed “u” profile in the lower and upper part. The system also allows us to place the panel from floor to ceiling without any intermediate support, in case it is an interior layout, where the force of the wind is not affected.
If it may affect the impact issue, therefore, for safety reasons, it is advisable to use an intermediate profile since it improves impact stability. In this regard, the use of our profiles, supplied in two sizes: the standard and the maxi, depending on the use of one or the other, allows us greater separations for horizontal uprights. Thickness of the panels: The choice of the thickness of the panels is decisive when executing this type of curved distributions. With lower thicknesses we can use them with a lower radius of curvature. The same applies to the width of the panel, we have two Standard versions of 500 mm and the Maxi version of 1,000 mm in width and thicknesses from 10 to 40 mm.
The main elements and thicknesses that make up our offer are the following: This system can also be used when both sides of the partition are seen. Using two panels on each side of the profile, we form partitions where the structure is inside, achieving a very clean solution.
Panel colors: The panels are offered in a wide range of standard colors and can be made of any color (always taking into account minimum manufacturing requirements).
Other solutions: Our systems also allow us to create interior enclosures with our machine-threaded panel system, but as long as they are placed in a straight way, this solution allows a different view since there are no vertical uprights and gives continuity to the solution, but it does not allow them to be placed in a curved shape since the panels will open at their joints, due to their machined system.
