Akyver - Multiwall Polycarbonate
How to meet the acoustic requirements of the CTE - Double skin of cellular polycarbonate panels
With regard to acoustic requirements, the CTE in noise protection determines conditions and values that will vary depending on the application. The calculations are complex and involve the study of several variables, including:
-The use of the venue.
-The transmission of airborne noise.
-The transmission of impact noise.
-The vibrations of the building's own facilities.
-The reverberating noise of the rooms.
Our polycarbonate panels, due to their reverberate cellular structure, contemplate relatively low acoustic attenuation values, between 20 dB (panel R 2216-2) and 27 dB (panel R 2560-12). Depending on the use of the building, these values may not fall within the parameters established by the regulations. Therefore, a possible solution is the use of a double wall with different cellular polycarbonate panels.
Following the example of the Torrejón de Ardoz School, we have: Value that exceeds the 33 dB required for facades, also complying with the CTE.
