On several occasions we have explained the advantages of using Machihembrated Cellular Polycarbonate Systems in facades and skylights. This time we would like to focus on their use in roofs, looking at some concrete examples and highlighting the characteristics that make our panels the best choice and solution for your projects. There are several panels for horizontal applications in our catalog, the most used for their practicality, characteristics and ease of assembly are the R 3610-4 and R 3625-5:

-Both stand out for their design, in the form of a 600 mm wide tray, with the socket integrated into the same panel (unlike U-panels, which require a connecting piece).

-Its technical characteristics are very similar, differing mainly by its thickness of 10 mm and 25 mm, which give it greater thermal insulation, from 2.50 W/m2 K to 1.55 W/m2 K and allows us to adjust to the building's energy demand.

-Its fire behavior, according to the Euroclasses, is Bs2d0.

-The different thicknesses, as well as the R 2180 aluminum reinforcement profile, will allow us to achieve larger lights depending on the loads in the area: pressure, suction and snow; you can consult us or ask us for the load diagrams and adjust the distance between supports that best suits your needs.
